Character Design

MEET OUR GIANTS

The art style of "Bombay Beats" is minimalistic, with half outlines and simple colors, ensuring the focus remains on the footage. The characters have small faces, short torsos, and large arms and lower bodies, emphasizing their large stature. This style complements drone shots, capturing Mumbai's grandeur while maintaining visual appeal.

5) Storyboard - Creating a visual blueprint of the film's scenes and sequences. Illustrating key moments, camera angles, and character actions to outline the narrative flow and pacing.

6) Animatic - Assembling footage and initial scratch animation into a working animatic.

7) Animation & Cleanup - Animating each character's actions in Photoshop. Refining movements and adding in details in Adobe After Effects.

8) Masking & Compositing - Integrating the 2d animated characters into each scene of the film

9) Sound Design - Incorporating additional sound effects to capture Mumbai's sounds and rhythm.

10) Final Post-production - Fine-tuning the edit, and colour correction for narrative cohesion.
